MotoDash Dominican Republic ("MotoDash," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user of our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information when you register and use MotoDash:

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to operate and improve the MotoDash service:
- To create and manage your account
- To match clients with nearby drivers for rides and deliveries
- To send real-time push notifications about ride requests, order status, and driver arrivals
- To display your location on the in-app map during an active ride or delivery
- To process and track delivery orders between clients, stores, and drivers
- To display ads through Google AdMob (free accounts only)
- To calculate and display driver ratings
- To diagnose technical issues and improve app performance
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Location Data
MotoDash requires access to your device's precise location to function. Location is used to:
- Find nearby drivers when a client requests a ride or delivery
- Show the driver's real-time position on the client's map during an active job
- Detect when a driver arrives at a store or client address (geofencing)
- Update driver availability based on their last known position
Location data is transmitted to our servers only while you have an active session or open job. You may revoke location permission at any time in your device settings, though doing so will prevent the app from functioning correctly.
4. Third-Party Services
MotoDash uses the following third-party services that may process your data:
Supabase
We use Supabase to store account data, job records, and location information. Data is stored on servers hosted by Supabase Inc. Their privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
Google Maps / Apple Maps
Maps are displayed in-app using platform map services to show locations of drivers, clients, and stores. No personally identifiable data is shared with map providers beyond what is necessary to render the map.
Google AdMob
Free accounts are shown ads powered by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID) to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings. AdMob's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) / Apple Push Notification Service (APNs)
We use FCM and APNs to deliver push notifications to your device. Your device push token is stored securely and used only to send you notifications related to your account activity.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Order and ride history is retained for 30 days for display in-app, and may be retained longer for fraud prevention and legal compliance.
When you delete your account, your personal information is removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent for location access at any time via device settings
- Opt out of personalized advertising via your device's privacy settings

7. Children's Privacy
MotoDash is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of MotoDash after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
